Graduate PLUS Loans
Now graduate and professional students are eligible for PLUS loans. That means the student is the borrower, not the parents. There are credit requirements for the graduate student loan, but no debt-to-income ratios or credit scoring are used.

Graduate PLUS Loans from First Tennessee feature:

  • Full deferment of payments while in school at least half time
  • Flexible repayment options
  • Exceptional student loan servicing through Edfinancial Services
  • The ability to borrow up to the cost of education minus other financial aid received
  • Up to 25 years to repay based on flexible repayment plans and total amount borrowed
