Stafford Loans: Your Overall Best Value

There are a lot of student loans out there, but the most popular one is the Stafford, a federal loan featuring low fixed interest rates and some other very attractive features. To qualify, you must be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen and enrolled full-time or half-time in a college, university, or eligible institution. No cosigner is required. There are two kinds: the interest-subsidized Stafford and the unsubsidized Stafford. Either way, Stafford loans are excellent ways to finance your education. Your school will determine the amount of Stafford loans for which you are eligible.
